Amy George

As a former AUB Hair and Makeup graduate, Amy pursued a career within the theatre industry, working predominantly as a wigs mistress. Her most recent professional credit was working as HOD on the Jersey Boys UK and Ireland tour.

Amy has worked both in large scale theatres, such as Chichester Festival Theatre, where she was a hair and makeup assistant for Fiddler on the Roof, to smaller and more intimate off-West End theatres such as at The Menier Chocolate Factory, working as the wigs mistress for She Loves Me.

With specialist skills such as hair styling, wig application, knotting, barbering and makeup, Amy is very excited to bring her knowledge and love of the theatre industry to the students.
