Antigoni is a London-based, ARB-registered architect and scholar. She holds a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) and completed a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies (UCL). She has studied at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and Barcelona Tech (UPC). She has practiced and taught in Greece, Switzerland, and the UK, and has presented her research work worldwide. She has been awarded various funding grants and has published in several languages.
Her academic interests lie in the intricate connections between places and people through history. She seeks to reinterpret past and current design practices, focusing on how users experience space and its geometry. She explores how continuity and identity are manifested in the form and materiality of the built environment, across spatial scales.
