Overview

Since arriving at AUB in 2022 I have been managing the drawing programme for BA (Hons) Animation Production. I teach across levels 4 and 5 and have great pleasure of working with some super talented staff and students. The course is industry-focused, which means training students to a high standard in drawing and design principles.

    • Drawing and Design: A variety of animation focused drawing and design skills such as form, structure, shape design, character design, environment design, gesture, emotion, anatomy, and movement.

    Senior Animation Lecturer / Course Leader – University of Wolverhampton (Jan 2008–2022)

    • Life Drawing: Anatomy Drawing, gesture, form, weight, emotion and developing a personal style.
    • Character Development: Ideas, writing, visual development, maquettes, digital painting and animation.
    • Animation Principles: Introduction to the principles using-Drawn 2D, CG 2D, and 3D CG Character Animation Workshops: Working through performance options.
    • 3D Production: CG Character animation and basic modelling.
    • Professional Animation Project: sourcing live client briefs; scheduling, trends, communication ,professionalism, pitching.
    • Major Project: Mentoring Final film and individual portfolios
    • Games Design & Animation: Basic character animation principles and practice, designing and modelling a character in Maya.
