Overview

Heidi graduated from the University of Southampton with first class honours in English and Psychology in 2002. She went on to manage the Centre for Enabling and Learning Technologies at the University of Southampton before joining Arts University Bournemouth as Head of Student Services in 2007.

Since graduating, Heidi has gained a MA (Ed) and a PG Certificate in Higher Education Management. Heidi has undertaken a range of consultancy work for other universities, including leading institutional review of reasonable adjustments for disabled students, training DSA needs assessors, and reviewing critical incidents.

Heidi served two full terms on the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA)’s Higher Education Advisory Panel. In 2018 she established and managed a dedicated Student Services department at Health Sciences University. Heidi worked collaboratively to set up the first NHS-funded University Front Room mental health drop-in centre.
