Kate Venables

As Access and Participation Manager, my role is responsible for supporting and ensuring delivery of the University’s objectives and targets set out in our Access and Participation Plan (APP) and managing the wonderful Access and Participation Team. The projects associated with key deliverables set out in our APP support and enable students from under-represented backgrounds in Higher Education (HE) access, succeed and progress in creative subjects in HE.

I am passionate about widening access to HE and sharing best practice to support students throughout their student experience. I really enjoy partnership working with the community and embracing creative richness from diverse experiences, to develop new initiatives for students. Co-constructing activities with young people and their supporters to inspire the next generation of creatives.
