Overview
I worked as a professional actor for approximately 30 years. This work was in theatre: Royal Shakespeare Company/Young Vic Company/ Cheek by Jowl Theatre/Red Buddha theatre of Japan, working with notable theatre directors including Trevor Nunn, Terry Hands, Declan Donnellan, Stomu Yamashta, plus many more theatres and touring companies. Also films and TV.
I have taught acting/directing at London Drama Conservatoires: Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, East 15 Acting School, The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and Guildford School of Acting. I have been a Senior Lecturer in BA Acting, at Arts University Bournemouth, since 2006. I have directed over 25 plays with students at these drama schools and including Arts University.

Teaching
I have taught Stanislavsky Methodology at East 15 drama school also at Rose Bruford, where I also taught directing. Greek theatre and Shakespeare at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. Stanislavski at Guildford.
At Arts University Bournemouth I teach/have taught...Stanislavski/Uta hagen methodology in Acting One and Acting Two. I have taught Acting for Camera at Level 4. At Level 5 I currently teach Shakespeare and at Level 6 I usually direct one or two of the final theatre productions.
