I am an interior designer with many years experience designing for trade shows, exhibitions, galleries, and commercial projects. I also have a keen interest in academic research related to design. My research areas include design pedagogy, sketch inhibition and research methods for designers and creatives.
I have taught at several UK universities over the past 25 years and have lots of experience with students from other countries and whose first language is not English. I really enjoy working with students from around the world - everyone has their own unique approach and it's so exciting to be part of their journey as designers.
I am currently Module Leader for Introduction and Transition modules on the MA Interior Design (Online) course, and tutor for Research Methods, Specialism and Practice, Collaboration and Inclusivity modules. I also supervise students completing their final major projects.
