Louise Whittaker

My role involves facilitating and delivering activities for Post-16 students who are from groups that are under represented in Higher Education. I encourage students to explore their options and opportunities within creative courses at university and, through targeted interventions, support them in their journey to AUB from considering the courses available to them to making an application.

Prior to joining AUB, I worked closely with schools to teach and promote the importance of enterprise skills in students and have taught in secondary schools across Dorset and Gloucestershire. Having been Head of Year 13 in a school in Cheltenham with a large cohort of students from non traditional backgrounds, I experienced the importance of building confidence and equipping students with the knowledge to make informed decisions about HE.
