Marion’s design experience, includes that of Creative Director at Design Bridge.
Marion’s professional experience is diverse. As well as being partner in Morrison Dalley she has also worked for Trickett & Webb and The Partners, developing design for print and corporate identity, before becoming board level Creative Director at Design Bridge and specialising in global sports branding for UEFA and new product development projects for Unilever (Physio Sport, Birds Eye, Organics). Asia Pacific Breweries, Singapore (Tiger Beer). Packaging for Phillips lighting, included design and implementation of a European range of sustainable packaging for lamps. For GSK developed packaging and information on childhood vaccines.
For the UEFA football headquarters in Geneva she designed site signage and trophy display areas as well as the branding programmes for all the UEFA European football competitions including the launch of UEFA Champions League. The branding programme was implemented across print, stadium environment, broadcast programme title sequence, players kit and merchandising.
Marion’s academic teaching focuses on design as a hybrid, discovery led creative process that utilises ‘deep dive’ research - as a means to gain insight, and leverage creative, imaginative thinking. Marion believes ideas emerge through investigation and prototyping and that as designers we can use our creativity to bring about positive change for global good.
She consciously pushes for student led learning to be a human centered, collaborative and outward facing ‘experience’ leading to unexpected, well implemented design solutions.
