Misan has spent her professional career in the design, construction and property development industries.
She co-founded SisterSister Property, a property development company that creates inspired homes and developments in Greater London and the Home Counties. She has also held senior property roles across major organisations. At Lendlease, where she spent more than 10 years, she worked on large-scale projects such as the Athletes Village for the 2012 Olympics and the 3,000-home Elephant & Castle regeneration projects. Before that, she worked at BAA for nine years on major projects such as Terminal 5 and the electric-powered passenger rapid transit (PRT).
Misan is a Trustee for Magnify Collective, a charity for women creating inspiring content across digital, print and social media platforms. She also mentors alumni students from the African Science Academy (ASA), Africa's first STEM academy for academically gifted girls, who are studying architecture at UK and International universities.
She is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and lives with her family in London.
