Paul Schilling

Paul joined Arts University Bournemouth as a Technician Demonstrator in January 2019. Prior to this post, Paul was a visiting tutor for the Prosthetic, Casualty Make-up and Special FX short course.

Paul comes from an art and graphic design background. After leaving school, Paul did a two year Design Technician course at Bournville School of Art and Crafts and then worked in various design studios in the West Midlands before moving to Dorset in 1996.

Paul is also a self-taught artist, and has exhibited his work through local galleries for the Purbeck Art Weeks. Paul has also exhibited some of his prosthetic and sculpting work at the London IMATS shows.

After doing the AUB short course in Prosthetic, Casualty Make-up and Special FX, Paul went on to do several more Prosthetic Make-up FX courses at Creative Media Skills, Pinewood Studios with Stuart Bray.

Paul is very passionate about all things to do with Prosthetic Make-up and wants to pass on these skills and his artistic experience to the students at AUB within his job role as Technician Demonstrator.
