I am a Senior Lecturer, teaching on the BA (Hons) Illustration course at the AUB. Within my role, I teach on different course units at different levels. I have wide ranging interests in both the subject of illustration and how the dynamics of the teaching space can be used to facilitate knowledge transfer and the broader development of learners. Extensive former experience of teaching and managing in further education as a progression leader (and before this as a pathway leader), has provided me with broad oversite of many aspects of teaching and educational systems. Regarding further education teaching provision, I was interviewed for the book 15 Methods 20 Questions by Q Art.
In addition to teaching at the AUB, I have previously taught as a visiting lecturer/tutor on illustration degree courses at the University of Plymouth and the University of the West of England.
