Sam Boughton is an artist, illustrator and lecturer teaching tailored workshops on MA Illustration at AUB
Sam studied BA (Hons) Illustration at UWE Bristol and then went on to run art courses internationally for various institutions. In 2014, she graduated from Cambridge School of Art with an MA in Illustration (Distinction), then went on to author and illustrate 10 picture books with Penguin Random House, Tate, and Templar Books. She is now a full-time painter.
Sam specialises in teaching students how to find their inner creative voice through a series of tailored workshops that look at the fundamentals of art making. Through her loose, expressive approach she encourages students to explore a vast array of mediums to open their minds to new ideas. Her experience in both the fine art and illustration industry means Sam can bring rich knowledge to the students on the course. Both practically and professionally.
