I joined Arts University Bournemouth in 2022 as Programme Leader for the online MA Interior Design degree.
After graduating from Brighton University with a BA (Hons) in 3D Interior Design, I then went on to gain a PGCE in Design and Technology at Bristol University. After this I gained a Master’s in Interior Design from Portsmouth University in 2013 and I am a panel member of The Society of British and International Design (SBID) Healthcare Council, a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (FHEA) and an Interior Educators university member since 2007.
Before joining Arts University Bournemouth as Programme Leader for the MA Interior Design online course during March 2022, I designed and led the MA Interior Design for Health and Wellbeing on-line course at Buckinghamshire New University. I was also the Interim Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Interior and Spatial Design course at BNU, integrating wellbeing and sustainability for interior design. Previous to this I was Course Leader on the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme at Solent University and have taught on various postgraduate and undergraduate courses. These include Senior Lecturer for BA (Hons) Interior and Spatial Design, BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology and BA (Hons) Interior Design.
As well as being a Programme Leader and Senior lecturer within various areas of post and undergraduate design degrees, I have successfully run my own space planning and energy efficient refurbishment businesses.
