I am a Landscape Architect and academic with over 16 years of university teaching and research experience in the UK, Germany and Turkey. My teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, focusing on design studios, planning, and landscape theories. I worked as the MA Landscape Architecture Programme Director and Senior Lecturer at Writtle University College, Chelmsford, where I was responsible for leadership, organisation, recruitment, administration, academic coordination, research, and teaching in postgraduate courses. I successfully led the launch and validation of new MA Landscape Architecture programmes.
I am an experienced Master's thesis supervisor and have led both national and international PhD research projects. I regularly publish in peer-reviewed journals and serve as a reviewer for academic journals and books.
I have also served as External Examiner for MA Landscape Architecture programmes at the University of East London (UEL), Birmingham University, and the University of Sheffield (2014–2019).
