Tom Strudwick

I took up the Course Leader role on the BA Film Production course at AUB in 2023 having been a Senior Lecturer since 2007, with interests in producing, script and the business of film. I have worked in film production, financing and distribution since 1991, having been Head of Acquisitions at The Works; Vice President, Acquisitions and Production at MGM/United Artists and Acquisitions Executive at Ciby 2000. Filmmakers I have worked with include Pedro Almodovar, Robert Altman, Jane Campion, Sofia Coppola, Todd Haynes, PJ Hogan, Jim Jarmusch, Mike Leigh, David Lynch, Mira Nair, Stephen Poliakoff, John Sayles, and Michael Winterbottom. I have also consulted to government agencies including the UK Film Council, New Zealand Film Commission and Australian Film Commission.
