Victoria is a specialist in Contemporary Theatre Performance and Practice. As an experienced Theatre Director, her work focuses on material that considers social, political and cultural contexts, most specifically the role of women and women's writing. Victoria holds particular research interests in gender studies, feminist theory, post colonial histories, literary criticism and various wider contextual research surrounding arts and culture. Victoria also has a well established history of providing academic and critical theoretical support to undergraduates at levels 4, 5 and 6.
At AUB Victoria provides academic and theoretical support to students that are working toward their dissertations via 1:1 and workshop support.
Victoria is the current course leader for BA Performing Arts at The Bournemouth and Poole College. In this role she teaches Performance Contexts, Theatre Arguments, Artistic Practice, Performance Laboratory and Special Subject. Alongside this role Victoria teaches for BA (Hons) Dance at Arts University Bournemouth on the L6 dissertation unit.
